Hennessy Pineapple Upside-down Poundcake

Once again we have a string of nouns all describing individual things I love. Hennessy. Pineapple. Poundcake. Yes to all of this. So, I saw this recipe on YouTube and felt like I needed to share it here. To make it #passthejay approved, you have several different choices of infusion.

1. You can substitute infused butter for some of the butter needed for this recipe. Pound cakes call for a Lot of butter, so it’s important to be mindful of the dosage you wish to develop for consumption.

2. You can add cannabis tincture to your Hennessy.

3. Substitute some infused sugar for some of the sugar needed for this recipe. As with the butter, be mindful of dosage when using infused substitutions with this recipe.

Now that you’ve got an idea of how you’ll add your special ingredients to the mix, check out this decadent dessert.

*you can substitute the cake part for butter box cake if you want! But the scratch made is amazing!

3 CUPS CAKE FLOUR (if using all purpose instead of cake flour, simply pour 3 cups of all purpose flour into a bowl.. then remove 6 tablespoons of the all purpose flour.. then add in 6 tablespoons of cornstarch to replace the removed flour.. now sift together.. and you have cake flour)

Bake cake on 350 for 1 hour 10-20 mins or until tooth pick or knife comes out clean once inserted.
